Making a Suitcase Theatre

In November 2019 I attended a ‘Making a Suitcase Theatre’ weekend workshop with Judith Hope at Little Angel Theatre in London. We learnt small puppet making techniques, sculpting and mechanisms, performance tips and got to take home our own puppets and backgrounds in a vintage suitcase theatre. I chose to use a Native American folk tale, ‘Leelinau, The Lost Daughter’. Work in progress!
